  Had a great Sabbath day at church. Lessons on chastening and being thankful for all the trials and blessings we have. And being self reliant.. Truly inspiring messages as well as the fellowship of the saints.

  The Latter day Saint ward here in Carthage is an amazing ward! They are very friendly and very kind to those who are visitng for the first time. There are alot of individuals and families with various backgrounds and different socio-economic statuses. The bishopric is very committed, hard working, loving and very approachable as they freely give of their time and resources. They all have other jobs and families and seem to always serve the ward where it is needed most. The activities are incredible and there are always fun things to do and people to serve. This church is worth your visit as you will walk away feeling better about your life and determined to be a better person. My husband and I would recommend this Church to any family wanting to grow closer together. They teach about eternal families and they have special classes for each age group including really young children. Its awesome come join us!
